I was blown away by how simple it was to create a whole new CI or change practically anything (I haven’t found anything I *can’t* change yet) just by creating an extension.

– there is no reporting system included and no documented way of hooking a 3rd party tool like Crystal Reports into it
– there is limited documentation and no user community for support, so if you want support you’re forced to buy it

I do not agree with the comment: “Now, the bad. Everything you need to keep track of, has to be manually created.”
iTop comes with a import and synchronization tools, that in my case I use to federate data between OCSInventory and Solarwinds with iTop.
Adding or modifying features can be done with extension modules created by XML data definitions that iTop compile and convert to php code and database structure changes.
iTop my highest recommendation.
